Spirits of greed led us astray,
We found ourselves sheltered in fear,
As we were sure they’d disappear,
We tot our names to bitter end.
And time began to compend,
Our evils in bias and waver;
No feeling of humor could render,
The ages we lost to dismay.
Decisions began to obey,
Our motives to stand for detachment;
The choices were made reinforcement,
of conducts that we never learned.
Our chances to rue never came,
Repentance no longer an option;
We suffer a state of absorption
With no one to blame, but ourselves.
